Lowri is a proud Welsh woman who has adventured from Canadian Mental Health Association, to supporting lower literacy immigrant women to find employment at Calgary Immigrant Women’s Association. She was humbled and honoured to support and empower Indigenous families while at Miskanawah, and was delighted to lead the agency in setting up its two Indigenous Family Resource Networks.
She values openness to learn from our littlest people and the quietest voices. Led by laughter and seeking the light, she is grounded by her family’s love and is passionate about creating a world her kids will want to inherit!
Lowri is an adventurous person who feels alive in the outdoors with her kids around a fire pit, smelling the sap from the trees, enjoying sunsets and camping together. On weekends, she can often be found hiking around Canmore.
