Discovery House provides safe housing and essential support for families with children who are leaving domestic violence as they transition out of short-term emergency shelters and are referred to us for longer-term support.
Each year, we house hundreds of families in our secure apartment complex, as well as through our Community Housing Program (CHP) in affordable rental properties throughout the city. Families who come to our programs typically stay within our shelter for about a year, and receive roughly a year of support as they transition into the community as well.
